Management Report Designer Usecase
The Challenge
Develop a cloud-based reporting solution for creating EPM cloud financial and managerial reports. It needs to enable users to insert charts and grids utilizing EPM cloud sources, such as Oracle Analytics Cloud - Essbase as well as ERP Cloud Financials, into a report.
The reporting solution needs to co-exist with and can be embedded into Narrative Reporting report package doclets to integrate them in the collaborative narrative reporting process.
The Goals

Empower more users to confidently build reports with a graduated set of design options, with one used by default based on persona, with the option to use another, as well as change the default.

Make the data the primary focus. Tools and controls need to support the user and should be readily available when needed, but they should not hinder view of the data.
My Role

Member of core team setting vision and direction for the new service.
